How do you decide which search engine to use for different types of questions?

I've noticed I reach for different tools depending on what I'm trying to find. Shopping or local stuff: Google. Deep research rabbit holes: I end up somewhere like Findborg or using AI. News: directly to a source I trust. Curious whether others have developed a mental model for this, or whether you mostly just default to one engine for everything.
