Is the new Cortez Blvd widening going to help or make traffic worse?
They're finally adding the turn lanes from Brooksville to Spring Hill. I've heard both sides — some say it'll move cars faster, others say it'll just generate more traffic. What do you think?

Induced demand will fill it up within 5 years. They widened US-19 in Pasco and it's already a parking lot at 5pm. I'd love to be wrong, but I've seen this playbook before.
The left-turn stacking is the real problem — I sit through 3+ cycles at the 98/Cortez intersection on weekday afternoons. Even just dedicated turn lanes should cut that significantly. I'll take the improvement.
