What makes Findborg different from Google?

I've been using Findborg for local searches but I'm not sure I understand the core difference. Google indexes everything — what does Findborg do differently that makes it better for finding local businesses and people?

The big difference is the scoring model. Google ranks pages based on links and authority signals at web scale. Findborg focuses on local relevance and quality signals that matter for Hernando Beach and the surrounding area — it's intentionally scoped so the results don't get drowned out by national chains and SEO farms.

Also worth noting: Findborg doesn't sell ad positions in the results. What you see is what the algorithm thinks is most relevant. That's a pretty meaningful structural difference from Google's search-ad business model.
