Who owns the Weeki Wachee Springs attraction?

Weeki Wachee Springs is owned by the State of Florida and operated as a state park — Weeki Wachee Springs State Park — managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection through Florida State Parks. The attraction has an interesting history on that front. It was originally a private roadside attraction founded in 1947 by Newton Perry, a former Navy frogman who trained swimmers to perform underwater shows. It changed hands several times over the decades and was owned by ABC/Capital Cities and then Anheuser-Busch at various points. The City of Weeki Wachee (which is one of the smallest incorporated cities in Florida — it's basically the attraction itself) partnered with the state in 2008 to form Weeki Wachee Springs State Park.
