Hey Analog Hours — Vic here, CTO at Findborg.I spend most of my days in code. But the hours that keep me honest are the ones away from a screen.Currently halfway through rebuilding a 1974 Schwinn Varsity I pulled out of someone's garage for $40. It came without a rear derailleur cable and with three decades of rust on the chainring. Been going slowly on purpose — partly because I don't know what I'm doing, and partly because it seems like the kind of project that rewards patience more than speed.Old maps are the other thing. I have a collection of road atlases from the 70s and 80s. The roads are the same but everything around them is different. A gas station that's now a CVS.
