Frequently asked questions
How do I know my donation actually reached the person?
Aseel's DirectAid model delivers to a named recipient and returns proof of delivery, so you get confirmation the specific aid you funded arrived, rather than a general thank-you from an organization.
Does Aseel take a cut of what I give?
Aseel publishes a pricing page called "Understand Exactly What You're Paying For" that breaks this down. Check it directly for current figures before you give.
What is an Omid ID?
It is Aseel's registration for a family or individual receiving support, creating an identified recipient profile so aid can be directed to a specific person instead of a general pool.
Can I buy something instead of donating?
Yes. The Buy Good marketplace sells handmade work from artisans, so your money arrives as income rather than relief. Same platform, same account.
Can I sell my own handmade work there?
Yes, through Sell With Aseel, which supports international logistics and secure payment so makers can reach buyers worldwide.

Someone dropped this on me and I went looking for the catch. Could not find one. You choose a specific family, Aseel delivers, and you get proof it arrived. Most giving asks you to trust a logo. This one shows you the receipt.
